Mayor Paz C. Radaza to deliver her State of the City Address (SOCA) on July 25, 10 am at Hoopsdome, Gun-ob.

For the first time, an LGU chief executive will be offering a state of the city address that is downloadable to smartphones and tablets. Mayor Paz Radaza will launch this digital feature at the Hoopsdome lobby. It will use QR codes to deliver the e-book of the mayor's SOCA. 

The e-book can also be accessed on the Facebook page of Lapu-Lapu city and on its website. The speech will also be on livestreaming on Sunstar website and on Lapu Lapu's facebook and website. 

The SOCA will focus on tourism while highlighting her accomplishments on her second year in office. The mayor will also talk about peace and order, social services, health, education and infrastructure. 

It will not just be a speech about the good things that is happening in the city but also the challenges it faces. It will be an honest to goodness reporting of the state of the city that will discuss progress and development as well as the gut issues that the city needs to address.
